What Cardvocate is
Cardvocate helps trading-card collectors weigh whether to open sealed product or buy singles, using live market prices and estimated pull rates. It's an informational and educational tool — a starting point for your own research, not a recommendation to buy, sell, or open any product.
Not financial advice
Nothing on the site is financial, investment, tax, or professional advice. Trading cards are collectibles whose value can go up or down. Any decision you make based on Cardvocate is your own, and you're responsible for it.
About the numbers
- Prices are live but third-party. Singles and sealed prices come from TCGplayer market data (via TCGcsv), refreshed regularly. They can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and they change constantly.
- Pull rates and resale figures are estimates. They're modeled approximations, clearly labeled as estimates, and will not match any individual pack, box, or sale.
- Verdicts are general. They don't account for your personal situation, local prices, condition, grading, or taxes and fees.
Acceptable use
Please use the site for your own personal, non-commercial collecting decisions. Don't: scrape or bulk-download the site or its data; try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to it; resell or redistribute its data as your own; or use it for anything unlawful.
Affiliate links & third parties
Some "buy singles" links may be affiliate links — we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you, and it never changes our recommendation. Purchases happen on third-party sites (e.g. TCGplayer) under their own terms; we're not a party to your transactions and aren't responsible for those sites, their prices, or their fulfillment. The site also relies on third-party services (including TCGcsv, Beehiiv, Google, Vercel, and Reddit) that have their own terms.
Intellectual property
The Cardvocate name, site, text, and design are ours. Card names, set names, images, and game trademarks belong to their respective owners — Cardvocate is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any trading-card publisher (including Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, or Creatures Inc.). Card data and images are used to identify products for informational purposes.
Beta & availability
Cardvocate is an early beta. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the site may be unavailable at times. We may modify or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.
Warranty disclaimer
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that the information is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cardvocate and anyone involved in making it won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site or from decisions you make based on it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product grows and will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
