Privacy

Short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and you don't need an account to use the tool.

Last updated: June 20, 2026. Cardvocate ("we," "us") is an independent tool for TCG collectors. Questions? hello@cardvocate.cards.

What we collect

We don't ask for your name, address, or payment details, and the tool doesn't require an account.

What we don't do

Cookies

We set one essential cookie to remember you have beta access, so you're not asked again. Google Analytics, reCAPTCHA, and — when ads are running — the Reddit advertising pixel also set cookies to measure usage, block bots, and attribute ad conversions. You can block cookies in your browser; the public pages still work.

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you're subscribed or have beta access. Unsubscribe or email us and we'll remove it. Feedback may be kept in aggregate to track what to build. Analytics data is retained per Google's defaults.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (to access, correct, delete, or port your data). Email us and we'll honor them.

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Cardvocate isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their email, email us and we'll delete it.

Where your data is processed

Our providers (Beehiiv, Google, Vercel, and — when ads run — Reddit) may process and store data in the United States and other countries. By using the site you understand your information may be handled there.

Affiliate links

Some "buy singles" links may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you buy — at no extra cost to you. It never changes our recommendation: we show the cheapest option regardless. See How it works.

If we add accounts

We don't offer accounts today. If we later add an optional account — for example, to save your collection so verdicts can be personalized to it — we'll update this policy first, and only collect what that feature needs (your email to sign in, and the cards you choose to save). It would always be opt-in; the core tool stays usable without it.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page as the product grows and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
